I've been gone entirely too long - this will be a great tool to get all kinds of things in my life kick-started - and plenty to tell that may or may not be of interest to all.... but they certainly were 'entertainment' (some still are!)

Back to the mines for the afternoon - more on the mines, too, without naming names of course ;-)

Slow workday, moved to a new manager, same workload, same dept...

Crazy 4th weekend -

...but found myself with friends, family, and even a day for regrouping on the home front - NICE! More to this blog than just that, though - stay tuned for rediculous photos...

Busy-busy...

Hockey tryouts for my son, entering the world of Jr. A hockey. He has a tender for a great Tier III team, awesome coaches and owner and will play for no other team in that league if that's the choice at the end of the tryouts and showcases this summer, but we have a month or more to go there - what an awesome experience!

One nerve-wracking part of this is attending an open camp or attending a showcase and not hearing a word while there - which has both happened and not-happened in our experience, but being told that this doesn't mean that he wasn't the subject of some productive discussion and is easily a candidate for (their team(s)) - that a call can come at any time.

Who's  holding his breath??!! :)

Once Upon a Time...

At one time we were certain that travel through space was impossible. That the world was flat... Last week I learned that sending a photo directly from my phone to my personal (very raw, not-show-ready) blog would not work... Think about what we'll know tomorrow.... Here comes Monday and I'll try to color within the lines, so to speak (Ah, a topic for later!)

EBooks App on G1 Phone

I'm wondering if this new BookReader app that I downloaded tonight is necessary, if I can also go to places like Bartleby.com online and open books in my browser. Possibly a question of selection?
